Middleton, Nova Scotia native Stephen Woodworth will be wearing the captain's ‘C’ for Team Atlantic, who will be taking part in the 2010 World Under 17 Hockey Challenge in Timmins, Ontario from December 28 – January 5. Woodworth, a former member of the NSMMHL's Valley Wildcats was a 2009 draft pick of the QMJHL's Lewiston Maineiacs and is currently playing major minutes with the Maritime Junior A Hockey League's Halifax Lions.

Woodworth has been involved in Hockey Nova Scotia's High Performance Program at the Under 15 and Under 16 levels.
