Coaching Resources

As a minor hockey coach  you may be responsible for a variety of items which will help your team enjoy a successful season. These items may include:

• selecting your team
• finding assistant coaches and managers
• holding parent meetings
• booking ice time and exhibition games
• evaluating your team and players on a daily and weekly basis to determine their developmental needs
• planning your practices and developing your yearly plan

All of these items are part of the job of the minor hockey coach  -  along with juggling the expectations of both the player and parent.
